Military Cemetery during its century long history has experienced a lot of insensitive interventions which reduced its area in its present form. Our intention was a challenge for us to show original shape of the cemetery on the current trimmed territory. The best way how to present a larger territory is to show it form above, we created upper level where the cemetery is more perceptible. This site was located at the intersection of the original main compositional axis of the cemetery facing the mound by sculptor Charles Horn and the southern boundary of the cemetery. From this place visitor has an opportunity to see overall shape and size of the original pious place. We removed the green seeding and highlighted preserved tombs as a concrete Greek cross over the grassy area of the cemetery. Not preserved tombs we printed as a "reflection" on transparent Plexiglas fence that separated the cemetery from the road. Greek crosses had no religion meaning, they symbolized military honors and medals.
